CORPORATE WORSHIP
Our worship gathering meets each Sunday at 11:00am
on the second floor (2/F) in the school hall of Clearwater Bay School. *Children’s Church is provided for kids up to 10 years old. See our Kids page for more info.
PARKING IS FREE inside the school gate, but you’ll need to move your car out after the gathering is over.
What should you expect when you visit CBIBC:
Our gathering lasts until 12:00 or 12:15pm.
We sing a mix of hymns and modern worship songs in both English and Mandarin. We usually alternate between verses and as both languages are on the screen side by side, people can sing in any language they choose. As a diverse congregation, we value singing in two languages as it reminds us that the church Jesus died to save is comprised of people from every tribe, language and nation. We also value congregational singing, where we are able to hear our brothers and sisters in Christ singing beside us.
Our sermon is in English with translation provided via electronic headset into Mandarin. Also, the sermon is translated into Mandarin on paper for you to follow along. Please see one of our ushers at the entrance for assistance.
We take the Lord’s Supper every 4th Sunday of the month. If you are a baptized believer in Jesus, feel free to take the Lord’s Supper with us.
Lastly, we hope you’ll take part in our informal LUNCH FELLOWSHIP. At CBIBC, we don’t rush away after our worship time is over. Most of our people head next door to one of the HKUST dining halls to fellowship over lunch together. We find this to be one of the most valuable things we do together. We hope you’ll join us.
